ABOUT

Effective philanthropy is about more than writing checks. It is about making a meaningful difference in ways that reflect deeply held values. I want to help you express those values through thoughtful giving, a simplified philanthropic process, and a joyful giving experience.

Before founding CSPhilanthropic, I worked in advancement and fundraising roles at Northwestern University and Stanford University, as well as with several nonprofit organizations in Los Angeles and Austin. Along the way, I helped lead and manage more than $50 million in philanthropic campaigns and fundraising initiatives.

What I’ve always valued most, though, is not the dollars raised — it’s the relationships built.

I genuinely enjoy getting to know people, listening carefully to what matters to them, and helping them translate those values into meaningful action. Throughout my career, I’ve taken a deeply donor-centered approach rooted in trust, sincerity, and thoughtful guidance.

I also understand that conversations around money can feel personal — and sometimes uncomfortable. Whether someone is being asked to give or deciding how to give, there can be uncertainty, pressure, or hesitation. One of the things I care most about is creating a process that feels approachable, grounded, and authentic.

In recent years, I’ve worked closely with individuals and families at many different stages of their philanthropic journey. Some are just beginning and want help clarifying their values and goals. Others have established giving practices and are looking for a more thoughtful, strategic, and organized approach to philanthropy. In all cases, my role is to come alongside clients as a trusted partner — helping them stay focused on the impact they want to make while managing the details and complexity behind the scenes.

I’m also personally committed to philanthropy in my own life. I believe everyone has something meaningful to give — whether through their time, talents, relationships, resources, or lived experience. At its best, philanthropy is simply an expression of who we are and what we hope to contribute to the world around us

My hope — and the heart behind this work — is to help people experience greater clarity, connection, and genuine joy in their giving.
